Welcome to Gensoric GmbH’s new internet page. Gensoric was founded in 2009 as a result of the scientific research of Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Peter Gründler, his colleague Dr. Gerd-Uwe Flechsig and their teams. They both did major research in the field of thermo-effects for electroanalytics and together developed and invented the technology of heated electrodes. During research and ongoing developments, several patent families have been granted and more are in preparation.
The technology of heated electrodes was first developed and performed to analyse inorganic and organic compounds in complex matrices to gain higher and more specific electrochemical signals. Later on this method was shifted to analysing osmium-modified DNA-strands. These days, Gensoric is doing research that utilizes these techniques to improve enzymes and bacteria for e.g. fuel cell aims and syntheses.
The Gensoric has already built and is selling an analytical device, the ThermaLab™-System. This system provides the possibility to simultaneously heat and measure at one wire-electrode. All known electrochemical measurements can be performed at well defined electrode temperatures without having to preheat the surrounding aqueous solution, which is time consuming. Furthermore, Gensoric is developing a system which will be capable of performing electrochemical measurements at 16 electrodes in sequence in the same solution. The system will be able to perform an pre-measurement PCR-sequence to multiply the specific DNA-parts.
